Do you know a thing or two about Hamilton’s music scene? Music in our city is thriving and has been for quite some time. What’s missing is a lot of the information online. As part of a national project in association with Music in Canada at 150, librarians all across Canada are working to fill in the gaps online for music. Wikipedia has become a great source for research on almost anything, but that information didn’t just get there on it’s own. It started with great minds, sharing stories and writing about what they know!

Hamilton’s Wikipedia Editing Party is a great chance to get together and actually learn how to properly use Wikipedia as an ongoing project to enhance our online presence. Our music scene is vast, and it’s up to us to piece together all the inbetweens from Teenage Head to the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra! Come out to the Central Branch of the Hamilton Public Library TODAY between 11am-5pm to put your knowledge to use. Everyone is welcome and no previous skill is required.
