The Interesting Lives of McMaster Graduates: McMaster Alumni Awards 2018

Yesterday night, members of the McMaster Alumni Community gathered at L.R Wilson on McMaster Campus to celebrate the 2018 Alumni Awards.

A number of incredible individuals were at McMaster last night from the Arkells, doctor and transgender activist Bobbi Lancaster, founder of Empowerment Squared Leo Nupolu Johnson, Dragons Den winner Mark Scattolon and many more extraordinary alumni to be recognized for their contributions.

The McMaster University Alumni Gallery began in 1982, started by the McMaster Alumni Association, and was meant to help recognize outstanding achievements of McMaster graduates. As of 2018, there are currently 420 graduates inducted and feature a number of alumni who have lived incredibly interesting lives and represents how McMaster alumni can affect and bring about positive change to society. In addition to the gallery, the committee records interviews with each of the members.
