Hamilton Zineposium 2018 Preview
Anything that kinda... somehow doesn't fit neatly somewhere. If it doesn't fit neatly, it will fit with us.
Hamilton Zineposium 2018 will take place on Sunday, July 8, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Spice Factory on 121 Hughson Street North (which is fully accessible). The Hamilton Zineposium serves as a platform for zine makers across the city to display, trade and sell their work.
The event is organized by a small volunteer collective of Hamiltonians who are interested in providing an inclusive space to share the wackiest and the subtlest creations of local creative minds. The first Zineposium was held on June 27, 2015, founded by Sally Mckay, Taien Ng Chan, Carmela Laganase, Donna Akrey, Leah Klein, Brittany Sostar, and has been growing rapidly. Eventually, developing to the point of partnering with the Hamilton’s own Centre3.
The Zineposium does not just provide a place to sell zines but vendors will also be selling buttons, t-shirts, prints and many more. On top of the other goods, there will be a bar with refreshments so you can comfortably enjoy the Zineposium.
Come out, express yourself and support your local creators and the zine culture within Hamilton!
