MorningFile: Living Rock Arts of August

MorningFile host, Emma McCarty interviewed Hannah Stoesz, the summer student intern at Living Rock as well as Shakila Muhibi, a previous Art Showcase participant about their 18th Annual Arts of August Youth Virtual Arts Showcase which takes place on August 27th 2020. The showcase will feature a variety of mediums from paintings, to poetry and even musical performances all circling around the main themes of peace, love, equality and culture. The initiative was originally developed in 2003 to provide action and a voice to youth. Today it is a platform for youth from all over Hamilton to join together to help inspire a culture of peace and equality through artistic expression.
