MorningFile: Hamilton Bike Share Program

MorningFile host, Emma McCarty interviewed Ward 3 City Councillor Nrinder Nann regarding the city’s bike share program. Earlier in the year, Uber announced it would no longer continue the popular bike share program Sobi, after June 1 in Hamilton. Following this announcement several negotiations took place between city council members and it did not look like a bike share program would continue in the city. However, the Hamilton community recognized the need for bike access and the not-for profit, Hamilton Bike Share stepped up. Hamilton Bike Share will continue the program until February 2021, when the city council will revisit the plan.
