Meet Jessica Compton, the founder of Tree of Stars. Jessica has been inspiring Hamilton’s community on her cafe tour where she shares stories and listens to anyone willing to share theirs as well. She has created a truly inclusive and valuable space to connect; if anyone is interested in chatting, please reach out to her on her Instagram @treeofstarstour or on her new website.

“Collaborating my photos, and my blogs it’s a healing I believe...My passion is to share and connect.”

Her photograh on canvas has become just one symbol for the hardships she’s been through her whole life and her undeniable passion to make a difference in our community. Connect with Jessica, and listen to our full interview with her about the project on MorningFile.

Jessica will be at Rick Rack Cafe on Ottawa street displaying her art work every Tuesday from 5-7pm. She's also in Waterdown at Copper Kettle once a month and at Candi Werx every other Sunday for children's open mic night! You can also catch her at Concession Street festival displaying her project in addition to the over 100 cafes she's visited telling her story across 6 weeks. She's collecting used hoodies from now until September to hand out downtown and is consistently looking for ways to better the community.
