Hamilton Programming Assistant at Evergreen, Allison Maxted joined us on MorningFile today to chat about 100in1Day Hamilton! This initiative is a global festival for citizen engagement. It’s their 3rd anniversary here in town and they are quickly putting together a massive line up of urban interventions around town on June 3rd for community members to go explore their city and talk about city-wide change that they would like to see happen.

You can register your idea for free on their website here. Your event must be free, open and inclusive for all and it cannot be profit driven but you’ll get to be a part of the most active city engagement! Last year Hamilton had the most interventions coming in at a massive 170. The workshops have already begun if you are looking to develop your ideas this spring. Check out their current listings starting tonight at Durand Coffee and continuing as soon as tomorrow with Project Coaching!
