CFMU is home to Ozilla Radio, an all encompassing “EDM” radio show has been running since 2014. A show that takes pride in promoting the local electronic scene is well on its way to a yet another milestone. And in this case, it is to celebrate their 8th anniversary. The celebration is on November 19th, at Bar Cathedral in Toronto ON. Tickets for the event can be purchased on Eventbrite for the low cost of $15 CAD. The event welcomes all to come out, dance, laugh and meet the team. The lineup for the night features local acts to the GTHA and surrounding area.

What began as a little side project and volunteering gig, has now become a larger operation of bringing the “EDM” community together and giving voices (mixing and interview opportunities) to artists who would normally not be given a chance within the densely populated scene.

Co-founded by two McMaster alumni, Ozilla Radio airs every Saturday from 10:30 pm to midnight eastern. Since 2014, Ozilla Radio has promoted up and coming artists, local music and events. Over its tenure, Ozilla Radio has sponsored numerous events around the GTHA and helped to promote artist careers, and various record label operations. Recently, the show has shifted its focus on providing more guest mixes and interviews and diversifying its offering so that artists can have a complete media package when being featured. In fact, the show leverages Twitch, YouTube, SoundCloud and MixCloud to highlight past guests and performances. Ozilla Radio has even had top tier talents including but not limited to: DLMT, Ryan Shepherd, Saberz, Crasca, HighUp, Jimmy ROSEDRIIVE and many more.
