60 Seconds: The Westdale Theatre

Located in the heart of Westdale Village, The Westdale marks its place as a "cultural hub" featuring independent films, public performances, exhibitions, film talks and special events. Built in 1935 as the first cinema in Hamilton to showcase sound motion pictures, The Westdale has been in continuous operation since 2017 when the not-for-profit charity, Westdale Cinema Group (WCG), restored the theatre with modernized services to better accommodate the needs of the community.
