From The Vaults E08: Catherine Wheel
Life may seem a little more hectic now, but their music still resonates for me, as I reflect back on my youth.
"As an über fan of Catherine Wheel, I was delighted and nervous to speak to Catherine Wheel’s Rob Dickenson. I remember back in the day, prepping for an interview meant reading every magazine article, talking to like-minded fans, hunting for stories or inside-scoops from industry-types who may have worked with the band, going to see the band live and attending other radio station interviews, etc…this is how you did it before we had access to the Internet.
Listening to this interview 20 years later makes me appreciate Catherine Wheel even more. Life may seem a little more hectic now, but their music still resonates for me, as I reflect back on my youth. Weird, though, to hear Rob speak of performing with the late Jeff Buckley in the present tense.
