MacWW2017: Avtek Productions

Avtek works behind the scenes to create unbelievable lights and sound set ups for some of McMaster's largest events. Anything from working the soundboard at concerts to the fancy lights at Welcome Week paint parties, to stringing lights during Light Up the Night. 

Tony explains to us all the little things that go into these productions and how his team works tirelessly to provide amazing experiences for students at McMaster. Avtek Productions plays a big part in the student experience and also consists of student staff learning practical skills for sound, light and stage set ups. A lot of physical labour goes into this job and we're lucky to have them with us for Welcome Week!
