Comfortably Numb: Canada's Pink Floyd Show
Comfortably Numb: Canada's Pink Floyd Show will be coming to perform in Hamilton on November 10th! Comfortably Numb is a Pink Floyd tribute band lead by AK, its guitarist and lead vocalist, who I had the pleasure of talking to on-air recently. You can tune in to listen to our chat on MorningFile and learn a bit about how Comfortably Numb started back in 1993, how they grew, and how they ended up as one of the biggest Pink Floyd tribute bands out there, playing shows all around the North and Central America. AK paints a wonderful picture of a tribute band that looks not just to replicate Pink Floyd but capture and distill the essence of what makes a Pink Floyd experience. You can hear his love for Pink Floyd and their music throughout – something that shines through in Comfortably Numb’s shows as well.
So, make sure to check out Comfortably Numb’s three-hour concert experience on November the 10th at the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre! You’ll get to listen to Pink Floyd’s 1977 album ANIMALS and 1975 album WISH YOU WERE HERE back-to-back, along with standout tracks from Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Meddle, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and more. The performances focus on how Pink Floyd would interpret the album versions of their songs in a live concert, providing a full musical experience. You can buy tickets here and learn more about the band right here.
